The artist was born in Moscow in 1975. He graduated from the Moscow Art Academy. Since 2001 he has taught as a lecturer at the National School of Design in Moscow Chair of ”Drawing, academic and decorative painting”. He has lived and worked in Würzburg since 2003.

He has taken part in many groups and solo exhibitions in Würzburg, Aschaffenburg, Ochsenfurt, Marktheidenfeld, St. Petersburg and Moscow. His works are in collections in Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Ukraine, Lithuania, Switzerland, Canada, the USA, Australia and Russia, among others. Many of his pictures have been published in several illustrated books.

In his pictures Dmitri Evtuschenko represents what has the greatest resonance in his perception of the world. Urban landscapes such as those of Würzburg, Venice, St. Petersburg and other cities, still lifes, portraits reflect emotions and mood characteristic of the artist himself. The purpose of each of his work is to create a harmonious to create an artistic image that consists of a dialogue of color nuances, of light and shadow, of chasm and order, heaviness and lightness, roughness and smoothness.
